Teri Sugg has been obsessed with getting sound from clay since 1999.  Her double ocarinas are lovingly carved, burnished and tuned before firing.  She tunes by ear and the feel of the vibrations to a just tuning that makes the most beautiful harmonic intervals.  When played, some harmonies produce the effect of a third tone that can be "heard", but are created in the brain and cannot be recorded.
